As the holiday season and calendar year-end approach, both tasks and festivities abound. Yet, as we assist donors and clients making tax-advantaged year-end gifts—and as we go about our own busy routines—some of those we work with, and even we ourselves, may be quietly struggling with grief or emotional strain.

This timely and interactive workshop will explore both individual and collective grief and offer an opportunity to brainstorm meaningful ways to acknowledge it. We’ll discuss healthy, appropriate approaches to supporting those who have experienced loss, as well as strategies for balancing professional responsibilities with our own personal grief.

Join us as The Rev. Dr. Loretta Reynolds guides us in developing awareness of how seasons, anniversaries, birthdays, and other remembrances can unexpectedly affect our emotions—and the emotions of those around us.
